Now none of you

Warsaw this time of the year... not pretty. Still compelling and somehow charming, at least to me, with its untamed river banks and grey skies and old villas squeezed along the small streets crowded with new cars. All the visual clutter so specific to this belowed town. We went for a walk this last weekend and ended up with our boots covered in mud as we kept slipping on a dank path in the woods that grow right next to the river on the one side and the busy street that spans the eastern part of the city on the other. It's not much to see and so much to see at the same time. Warsaw is hard to explain to someone who has naver been here.

I don't really get excited about clothes anymore. I can sew pretty much anything and that takes away a bit of the joy when you see something that looks just perfect --I already know I could make it if I wanted to. When I saw this bomber, though, all the velvet and embroidery put together, two things I so love, I really couldn't keep still. It was just a preview of a collection by one Polish brand called Medicine, though, and when I learned I'd have to wait a month or so for my jacket, it felt like in the old days, when I was waiting for Christmas or my brithday. A nice thing to exprience again. The bomber has since sold out but Medicine is always full of delightful prints and interesting shapes.
