A rabbit in the sun

A sunny day like today called for a sunny attire. I've had this yellow dress for three years now but it hardly gets worn. I generally love heavy fabrics but the skirt on this thing is so full and stiff it's plain show-offish. So much so that I don't want to wear it on a daily basis, and only don it when I'm feeling brave. This time, I played it down with the black coat whose weight helps keep the skirt from getting too pouffy. Underneath, though, bunnies frolic.

  1. That dress is so adorable, Klara! It looks kind of like the Primark dress that I wanted a couple years ago—except it's probably more ethical. Love the material and polkadot pattern. It looks so nice with the black coat! For a second there, I thought it was the yellow gingham skirt you sewed several months ago. Absolutely darling!

  3. Great silhouette on that dress. I know how you feel about making it more day to day sometimes but I'd be brave if I were you. It looks fantastic and deserves to take centre stage!
